Come and Join Us !
Like many other societies the ladies outnumber the men. We have a particular need for male performing members so that we can cast shows (occasionally we cast from outside the society when we are unable to do so from within).
We are always ready to welcome any new voices to the Society (especially tenors and basses who can move and hold a tune - just joking!).
The best way is to contact our Secretary to introduce yourself first and then come along to a rehearsal. Alternatively, send us your details and we'll get back to you.
We hold chorus rehearsals at theGeorge St. Community Centre, Bletchley, Milton Keynes on Monday evenings from 7:30 pm (excluding public holidays) (Click here to see a streetmap) . When you arrive ask to see a member of the committee - you'll be more than welcome to 'sing in' at the rehearsal. If you like what you see (and hear!) you can apply for membership - you will have to have a short (informal) audition with our Musical Director.
If you're not sure what your vocal range is, don't worry - come and have a go anyway!
There are many other ways you can help us stage our productions - that's right, you don't have to be able to sing! As a non-acting member you can help out with scenery, props, costumes, make-up, front-of-house... the list goes on.
If you're enthusiatic about amateur dramatics we'd really like to hear from you - why not send us your details now and we'll get in touch.
