Steve Corcoran

Hailing originally from North Lincolnshire, Steve has been an active member of amateur dramatic societies since the age of thirteen, when he first appeared in panto in Cleethorpes. He played the part of Buttons in Cinderella at the age of fifteen. Steve joined the Cleethorpes Savoy Operatic Society as soon as he was sixteen and stayed with them until he went the University of Hull to study Computer Science - naturally he joined the University G&S Society immediately !

Since leaving University he has been a member of several societies in Peterborough and Northampton, before joining MK G&S. In his time with us he has played many pricncipal roles including Bunthorne (Patience), Major General Stanley (Pirates), Cyril (Princess Ida) and last year he was Ko-Ko in our production of The Mikado. Steve is also a Member of The Magic Circle and has assisted with the magical effects for our 1994 production of The Sorceror and similar effects for several other societies' productions.

Steve is married with three children and in his spare(?) time runs the Society's 50 Club and is the "webmaster" our internet website.
