 The Story

Twenty years ago the rival kingdoms of Hildebrand and Gama formed an uneasy alliance by marrying their children, Prince Hilarion and Princess Ida, as babies. The court of King Hildebrand now anxiously await the return of King Gama and his daughter who will be reunited with her infant husband for the first time since the wedding.

King Gama arrives without the Princess, explaining that Ida has shunned mankind, locking herself up in a castle where she has founded a University exclusively for women. Undaunted by this Hilarion, assisted by two friends, sets off to the castle to reclaim his bride...
