THE BIGGEST EVENT OF THE 2003 was the wedding of Becca to Danny Cobley on July 5th. There were four bridesmaids - Becca's half-sister Lois, Danny's half-sister Kelsey, and Becca's second cousin Jorden, with Lorien, Jorden's mum, as matron of honour (despite being nine months pregnant!).

At the risk of blowing our own trumpets, it was a well-organised wedding (thanks especially to Caroline's eye for detail) and we all scrubbed up quite nicely. Sam loved wearing his smart suit. Matthew took responsibility for videoing the wedding and reception and did a great job. Sam and Matthew were also ushers.

Steve gave Becca away and made a great speech which was captured for eternity by a vigilant Matthew. Lucky really, as Becca and Danny couldn't remember what he had said as they were so wrapped up in the day, but were able to watch the video and hear his well-chosen and moving words at a later date.

It was a really wonderful and memorable day for everybody and we were pleased to welcome Danny into the family.
